A little late, but here we are.

I have done three paintings that I haven’t posted until now. I guess it just slipped my mind? They are some of my best, and two sold quickly.

One I “fixed up” again!  For the second or third time! That’s it. No more fixing on that one.

A Gorgeous Evening is a rendition of my back yard. It took me a year to toss it around and get it straight in my head. Paula’s View is similar, in that I thought about it forever, but merged two views into one.

Abdul’s Garden is a piece that reminds me of a children’s story, only set here in my front yard. The skies here are phenomenal.

The fixer upper, is the latest version of Storm Brewing. I got the right energy to redo the foreground, which had always been a problem. I didn’t have the confidence to attack the foreground until I finished Paula’s View. That is what I had envisioned, but had never attempted. Jeez. Sad, right?

I am gathering myself for the next piece. Time to get back to work.
